The optical nodes convert the optical signals into electrical signals for the final distribution via coax cable. The most common cable is RG-6/U 75-ohm coax using F-type connectors. And as streaming proliferates every broadcaster/studio will end up being a separate stream that will cost you $10-$15/month on top of that.
